Perfect Phrases to Connect Emerging Leader Ideas to Mission and Values

Once we have our missions, visions, and values established, these phrases reinforce them by applying them to emerging leaders’ innovations. They also guide emerging leaders to apply mission, vision, and values to the people they seek to influence.

Let’s test these ideas to see how consistent they are with our mission, vision, and values.

How do you tie that idea in with our mission, vision, and values?

I like that idea in terms of the values it represents. I’m a bit concerned that it doesn’t reflect our leader development mission as well as it could. How could we adjust it to align with the mission?

Ask__________________________________ (person in emerging leader’s domain of influence) what values they considered in their decision. That will help enliven values and re-create alignment.
